Enjoy beer tastings paired with a variety of Porto’s favorite foods – experience how beer and food can perfectly complement each other. Whether you are a curious beer lover or serious beer enthusiast, this tour offers something for everyone!
We aren’t like other tour companies in Porto, we see our guides as hosts – or better yet, culinary ambassadors of the city – and you as our guest. Our experiences feel less like tours and more like taking a walk with a local friend. On all our experiences we aim to show you the very best of our city, its history, culture and cuisine. Forget about eating a pastel de nata with us – because they are originally from Lisbon! – and no, you won’t eat a francesinha with us either – it’s an experience that deserves to stand on its own. Instead, let us take you to our favorite spots, the places where we go with our friends on a Saturday night or with our families for Sunday lunch.
We are the oldest food tour hosts in Porto and with all the heart and passion that we put into our work, it is no surprise that our guests adore us. We have consistently rated 5 stars on TripAdvisor & Google. You may also know some of our previous guests, who now recommend us to others – Rick Steves, Lonely Planet, Rough Guides, to name a few.
We are socially responsible. We aren’t just passionate about our beloved Porto, its people, and its food. We also care deeply about our impact. We created Taste Porto Food Tours as a socially responsible business and continue that mission today. We only work with locally owned and operated establishments. We concern ourselves with food waste and are consistently working with our partners to minimize it. In addition, we donate a portion of the ticket price to a local charity that helps feed the poor of Porto. We believe that tourism can have a positive impact on our community and work with you to make it possible.
We can host a private version of our Craft Beer & Food tour, please see more details here.

Absolutely not! Our tours combine architectural commentary, historical facts, local culture and culinary insight into a unique 3.5-hour experience. Imagine walking through Porto eating our local artisans’ most delicious foods while learning the neighborhoods from real locals.
Tours are held rain or shine. That’s how much we love the food! We ask you to check the weather before hand and dress appropriately. And don’t worry, tasting will occur indoors if needed as things don’t taste as good soggy.
We absolutely do! We can accommodate a variety of special requests (family reunions, birthday parties, out of town guests, corporate and more) with our Private Tours.
Just bear in mind we have limitations in terms of group size. Contact us to talk more about this possibility.
